LogInBus – Digital inclusion for all
The LogInBus is a mobile media centre and stops at various drop-in centres for people living in precarious circumstances in Stuttgart during the week. It offers advice and courses on digital media, as well as free Wi-Fi, printing and scanning facilities – even for people without their own devices or internet access.

What we achieve
People who lack support from those around them can get straightforward help with technical issues from the LogInBus – free of charge, with no need to register, and right where they go about their daily lives.
For example, they learn about AI, internet safety and basic PC skills, gain confidence in using digital media, become more independent and overcome their fears. The staff and the welcoming atmosphere on the bus are particularly appreciated.
As well as our ‘regulars’, we’ve also been able to reach people who were initially sceptical.
What sets us apart
Our project is characterised above all by its outreach-based and low-threshold approach. Everything is free of charge and requires no registration; nobody has to show any proof of eligibility.
For our team, every stop is a surprise – we don’t know in advance which people will come to us or what questions they’ll have.
Since the project began, our team has grown steadily. Our volunteers are of all ages; many bring IT skills from their professional lives – though this is by no means a prerequisite for getting involved.
